Sorry, I didn't get the point that you are struggling with display values only, not with computed values.
But even then my first statement stands that I'm not aware of a global setting in Notes that controls rounding. (That means I haven't seen anything like that in 18 years of programming for Notes, but anyone could of course prove me wrong.)
As for the example given in your last post, I made a quick test to try and reproduce it. Here's what I found:

Of course that does not solve your problem, but at least it seems consistent: Fields A and C are both displayed with half-even rounding in place. I tried with number formats Decimal and Currency (both with 2 decimal places) in the field properties, which did not make any difference. My platform is Notes 8.5.3 English on Win7/32 German, with standard regional settings in Notes and Windows.
Makes me wonder why you are not observing the same. FWIW, what is your platform?
